Art of Coffee is the only app you will ever need to learn how to create beautiful and elegant coffee art.

Designed for home and professional baristas alike, you will learn from two of Australias expert baristas Habib Maarbani (2010 Dairy Farmers/Pura Milk Latte Art Champion) and Alexandra Stathis (2011 Aasca New South Wales Barista Champion).

With over 30 designs available to learn, incorporating both etching and free pour techniques, including classics such as the Rosetta, Art of Coffee will give you a professional edge to your coffee. Even baristas who are already doing latte art will find advanced designs guaranteed to challenge them, and designs never-seen-before as well.

Art of Coffee uses three methods to help baristas learn each design: written instructions, step-by-step photos and video. It also contains four separate sections to aid baristas as they progress: Coffee Basics, Essential Art, Advanced Art and Troubleshooting.

Coffee Basics provides any barista a solid foundation for understanding the various components required to produce great coffee art.
Topics such as getting started, espresso, milk, crema and foam, free pouring, etching and marbling are discussed. There is also a glossary to look up common terms.

The designs in the Art of Coffee are divided into two sections and listed as follows:
Essential Art: Chasing Hearts, Four Leaf Clover, Dotted Flower, Seagulls, Etched Rosettas, Simple Heart, Layered Heart, Cradled Heart, Rosetta, Hanging Heart, Rosetta with Heart, Tulip, Smiley

Advanced Art: Butterfly, Ghost, Rabbit, Monkey, Pig, Dragon, Seahorse, Fish, Cowboy, Double Heart, Heart within a Heart, Swan, 6 Leaf Tulip, Double Rosetta, Phoenix, Rosetta with Double Heart, Wreathed Heart, Rosetta with Tulip, Double Heart Double Rosetta,

Finally, there is an extensive troubleshooting section in order to help baristas determine where they may be going wrong when the designs they attempt dont work as planned.

Disappointing
Great structure to the app, etchings are good, yet the free pour art pictures and videos lack precision and attention to detail. Examples are often asymmetrical and not centered in the cup. The shown pouring technique also lacks smoothness. The demonstrator is very jerky with the pitcher, forcing the push to appear. These factors all figure into pleasant presentation. Of course, nobody will pour perfectly every time, yet for video demonstrations and tutorials I would think it ideal to show users the best that can be done, a certain level of quality for somebody to strive to achieve.
great videos, easy to follow guides
love this app, and am having a blast trying my hand at the advanced designs. one thing I would love to see/hear is some voice over during the videos explaining the techniques. they do have guide lines in the step by step for each design, just would be great to watch and do in the same step!
Good videos and information
I like this app. Its nice to have all this knowledge in one place and presented in a consistent manner. Now for the bad. The font is terribly small, it doesnt rotate and the pretty coffee motive theme around the text just makes things worse. Its pretty, but not functional. Pinch to zoom would be nice too.
Amazing
Worth the money... I have learned so much from this app
